“$6 a gallon for gas. $7 for coffee. $3,000 for rent. How is anyone supposed to keep up?”

“Every month my PG&E bill goes up. I don’t even know why anymore.”

“A million dollars for a fixer-upper is not the dream I was sold.”

“Families like mine can’t take another hidden fee or higher price. We’re already stretched to the breaking point.”

Why is this happening

The cost of living here is already unbearable. Rent, gas, groceries, power bills — everything keeps going up. But the Bay Area Air District keeps adding rules that drive prices even higher. They don’t stop to ask what it means for families who are just trying to get by.

The Common Sense Coalition is calling for some common sense. Before the Air District passes another rule, they need to show what it will cost the rest of us. We deserve honesty and a fair chance to afford life here.
